The Cutting Edge Haunted House holds a Guinness World Record for being the country’s largest haunted house.
Another award winning attraction is the Haunted Hotel in San Diego, California. Also one of the top 13 haunts in America, it includes spine-tingling effects that keep your heart pounding while you fear for your life trying to escape. Included in the scare is a moving subway and a virus outbreak. You might even find a zombie lurking about, ready to jump out and grab you.
If the attractions listed above seem to be a bit too scary, there are other options for the faint of heart. Many cities host Halloween tours that are designed for children and are very family oriented. Pumpkin patch hauntings, haunted safari adventures at your local zoo, and storybook forests are just a few less scary activities to enjoy during the month of October.
